The Market Access Reimbursement Analyst™ exam is a 3-hour online proctored exam that consists of 150 questions, which may be multiple choice, true/false, or matching. 

Requirements: Sitting for the MARA™ exam requires membership with MAB Reimbursement Professionals (MABRP), paying the exam fee, and acquiring or having access to coding manuals. The minimum passing score is 75%. The exam fee includes one free retest within 30 days. 

Certification Maintenance: To maintain the MARA™ certification, holders must maintain their annual membership with MAB Reimbursement Professionals (MABRP), pay the annual certification renewal fee, and submit 12 reimbursement-related CEUs per year to demonstrate current knowledge in an ever-changing industry. MAB Reimbursement Professionals accepts pre-approved CEUs at 100% of their value and will consider other reimbursement-related CEUs up to 50% of their value. 

Membership with MAB Reimbursement Professionals:  Members have access to MABRP's online community, which is resource for collaboration, networking, and real-time reimbursement updates and changes.
